Masseto is wonderful! - 24 August 2016 11:16
This summer we spent two weeks in one of the Masseto appartments. We loved it as much as we did a couple of years ago, when we stayed for the first time at Masseto with friends. The family is lovely and always ready to help. The appartments are beautifully decorated and have good beds. Masseto's location is excellent, right in the heart of the Chianti region between Florence and Siena. This position allows for easy trips, not only to these two cities, but also to many other Tuscan villages and sites of historical or cultural interest. Coming home after such trips, there is the blissful peace and quiet and the lovely views of Masseto... Roelof van Deemter, Mariëlle Klerks and Myrthe (and dog Thor)

One year at Masseto - 27 April 2010 20:40
We were fortunate to be able to spend an entire year living at Masseto arriving in early winter to enjoy crisp sunny days and clear nights under a bowl of stars, spring watching the grape vines coming to life, hot lazy days of summer on our terrace and the glorious colours of autumn watching the busy olive harvest. To live in such a perfect example of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, easily able to visit small villages and towns while enjoying the peace and quiet of our comfortable accommodation was made even more special by knowing the d’Aubert family. Their warm and generous hospitality made Masseto a home for us. They happily shared their local knowledge and went out of their way to ensure that we had a memorable experience – not just responding to our queries but making suggestions that meant that we were aware of activities not always known to the casual visitor. Any guest at Masseto will be received with the same warmth and generosity and leave knowing a little more about the vibrant life of Italy. Jenny and Ralph Bray Sydney Australia.
Love at first sight - 27 April 2010 20:36
As a Dutch family we have started to visit Tuscany and spend our summer holidays at Masseto over 15 years ago. It was "love at first sight". We like the country, we like the house, we like the rooms , we like the family. We miss Masseto when , for whatever reason, we donot spend some summer weeks there. To compensate and if we can, we spend some weeks in November , enjoy the olive picking, in colourful Chianti
